HOW THE thiNcoder™ ROTOR WORKS
The thiNcoder Rotor operates when a user manipulates the rotary knob. When the knob twists, the magnet within the rotary causes the gold-plated balls to rotate within their circular housing. As the balls roll across the flex-circuit membrane, they move either into or out of shorting relation with the electrodes, and the user's input is received by the machine.
